I do have some issues about my notebook's WiFi Lenovo z I can connect to a network but whenever I try to view the list of WiFi hotspots, my current connection disconnects and it is hard to connect back to the network where I was disconnected.
Also, the WiFi sometimes resets itse lf when I view the wifi hotspots, and not able to see or detect the WiFi where I was disconnected after resetting itself but I can detect other hotspots.
And it takes a while to detect again the wifi where I was connected. And then, once I am able to detect the wifi I click connect, but it fails and cannot connect. My WiFi needs to repeat connecting after several tries to become successful, or worst is I need to reboot sometimes. Note: Other computers here at home has no issues about connectivity, same as my, and our mobile phones.
So I am sure it is just my notebook since when I upgraded to Windows 8. My WiFi is working fine in Windows 8. Hence, when I noticed about this failures, I tried to uninstall the WiFi in device manager to try another driver. But after I reboot my notebook, Windows automatically installed the driver for it so I can't get a chance to try installing different driver, like Intel Wireless LAN driver from lenovo support page. Also, I tried to update the driver but it says driver software is already up to date.
I also researched so much on how I will fix this issue. I've been reading here in microsoft forums and other forums. I tried all what I have read that might fix my issue, but still can't solve it.
Windows says this is the best driver for my notebook's WiFi. I tried to search on Lenovo's Support but I cannot find a more updated driver for it than what I have, or what Windows chosen for itself.
Actually, it is working fine but it is just messing when I view the list of wifi hotspots. I am not even disconnecting it, but it automatically disconnects itself after viewing the list. But before doing this, I may want to try a different solution first than changing the driver cause the driver is actually working. It is just messing when I view the list of wifi hotspots. Any idea what is going on about my wifi?
I tried many drivers from lenov osupport page. But still everything didn't worked aside from what microsoft has chosen for itself. I hope microsoft will reply in this thread.
